Like Monopoly and charades, some games seem to only come out (or come into their own) at Christmas, personally I am quite intrigued by the Blue Toad Murder files for PSN, the in laws love a good murder mystery so it will be interesting to see if this piques their interest in the same way mid-summer murders does and is hopefully something we can all play through together.

I can also see rockband being busted out along with Eyepet for the youngster. What will you be playing with the folks this yule?

Rock Band 2

I've got the RB1 instrument pack as a Christmas prezzy (yes I know I'm > 12 months behind the times!) and picked up a solus copy of RB2 cheap.

Looking forward to having a drunken bash on the drums, I haven't tried any drums in a music game yet.

I have yet to meet anyone who hasn't loved RB when shown it, Seeing initially reserved people hogging the mic and belting out song after song is brilliant smile.gif

I've played RB1 but just with a guitar (I was being frugal and bought it with out instruments to play with my GH2 guitar)

Looking forward to bashing away like a mad twat on the drums tongue.gif Especially now as I don't have to worry about neighbours!!

Gary Jules' cover of MadWorld was Christmas number 1 a few years back... do I win? cool.gif (Even though noob clearly knows the answer too.)

Anyway I shall be attempting to get some games of NSMB Wii going, but there hasn't been a good history of platform game success... other than that, probably some Wii Sports Resort, lightgun games, Blue Toad Murder Files and Grand Slam Tennis if we can make room.

Rock Band 2 and Beatles Rock Band here, will be the second year of Rock Band at Christmas in my house.

When RB1 came out I set it all up and got the family started on it any now everyone requests it at each big family gathering. Looking forward to getting them on Beatles RB this year, everyone got on much better with RB2, but with the Beatles even more of the relatives will be able to join in.

On Christmas day my favourite game will be "Seeing how much good Whiskey I can get out of my old man before he starts raising his eyebrows and tutting at me".

On boxing day I'm aiming for the Dominion Card game.

Over the rest of the period Borderlands, split screen, with my brother. The fool bought a PS3 when I already had a 360 facepalm.gif

I'm trying to find Buzz Quiz World (chronically undershipped, it seems) plus buzzers for non-extortionate prices. Unfortunately I missed out on the HMV "buzzers for £18" offer. So yeah: Buzz.
