Not much retro goodness for me this weekend. Forza 2 and PES 6 (for a footy mad friend) £1 each.

I was offered some hugely over priced tat which I just giggles and walked away from.. End of the year drawing closer - hoping to pick up an atari 2600 soon, with games... got and urge to play night driver and pac man ....

Busy today due to it being a bank holiday, but not much about. Hoping that Monday will bring some better stuff.

Good haul - Motocross Maniacs is a slice of fried gold.

Ah, Truxton... my first experience of a Megadrive was going into Harrods on a rare visit to London (we always went, and never bought anything), and playing Truxton to death on the demo unit there. Seemed so much more impressive than games on my Amiga, although memory serves The Sales Curve managed an excellent (mouse controllable) port a few years later.

well, today was a haul and a half! No photos as of yet, but:
-----------------------------

Mint and boxed Master System 1 Plus set with 27 games and a boxed SG Commander control pad (!) £30

Point Blank gun and game box set: £7

Large Lara Croft resin statue boxed and mint: £7 (this thing must be about 60cm tall, its pretty big!)

Blade runner big box: £1.50

game boy advance clear version: 50p
-------------------

I was amazed to find the SG Commander controller, especially boxed. Apparently rare as all hell! Happy as larry ;)

Found some old LCD games at one of mine this morning, Mouse Maze and Bandai's Missile Invader, not sure if they are working or any good yet, but will see, had to be worth a £1 for the two, plus a stack of Marvel trading cards ;)

Got GTA double box (3 and Vice city) on xbox for £1

Kurushi, Metal gear Solid & Exhumed on PS1 £2 for all 3.
Apart from that I saw a mint MD 1, the box looked like it was fresh off the shelf today, but I already have an MD 1 and 2 now, although for a tenner I should really have took it ;)

Also found an original GB Phat, with Mario Land and Tetris, 50p fo that aswell, think I spent more on fuel today than actual stuff from the sale, oh well.

Crazy! A mate of mine came to see me after going car-booting in Thanet today, said he saw that very same MS !

He couldn't bring himself to part with £30 tho!

It's a small world! Well, I hadn't spent that much at the other bootys I attended so thought I'd go for it considering it had the SG pad; glad I did as it's all in beautiful condition and I've been looking for a Model 1 MS, so thanks from me I guess! :D

Smaller boots then yesterday, not a lot about. But ended up with quality instead of quantity.

http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f4/frood42/DSC00096.jpg
XBOX: Metal Slug 4 £1.50
Dreamcast:Psychic Force 2012, Evolution £3-4 each
Didn't think I'd find any more DC games I needed at the local boot, the only stuff normally available is Sonic and football games.

PS2: Remote control £1.50
SNES: Axelay (US), Super Aleste £2-3 each
GB: Power Quest £2

I don't think psychic force 2012 is very valuable but it's one of the games you see very few copies of in the wild. Only seen a couple in the last 5 years or so.

Yeah didn't think it would be worth 'out but did a small double take when I found it in the middle of pile of the usual DC suspects. If I had a pound for every copy of Chu Chu Rocket I've seen.......... ;)

Chu Chu Rockets are worth buying if the cases are intact. £1 for a decent DC case? yes please.
