Details here....

I love this quote from the article...

A Sony spokesperson told GamesIndustry.biz, "This is just one of a number of value added incentives that retailers will be offering to mark the launch of PS3."

Adding value? Jeez

The PSP's still been selling rather well over here in Blighty though hasn't it? It outsold the 360 last year I remember hearing, only being outsold by the DS and the PS2.

£675?!?! Unnnnnnnbelievable.

I really hope common sense prevails and people ignore the PS3 until it drops to a reasonable price. I appreciate HMV is screwing around here but Sony needs to be taught a lesson IMO.

Presumably that's what you need to be able to "take adventage" of this "offer". Ho ho ho!

Seeing as only a madman would go for this offer I don't see it as being especially lucrative.

What a total rip-off.

You could've bought a PS3 and PSP last December on ebay for less than that, including the postage.

Someone get on the blower to Nicky Campbell.

EDIT:

Holy Fuck, for nearly 700 quid they dare to include Gangs of London. What bastards!

Just go in and tell them they can't legally force you to buy a psp as well.

I knew Sony had it in for the PS3, and that the media and customers despised it, but I didn't realise retail wanted it to die too.

They're not forcing you.

If you are wanting to preorder a ps3 from HMV they are by saying you can't preorder unless you agree to get a psp as well.

In otherwords, go in and say no you aren't getting a psp but you are pre-ordering a ps3.
