I miss playing FX
Its one of the games I cant play at all, must be the rapid use of the triggers or something, it completely screws my arm up almost right away. BF1943 does a little too but I can usually get a whole round or 2 in before having to take a break, but I miss FX, it played great and was a great reminder of classics like Illusions.

I really want those 800 points for the new L4D campaign. I might call them if they're not in my account by Friday.

Nothing on the Major Nelson feed yet.

So not one post about Zombie Apocalypse?!

I downloaded the demo and knew instantly it was a buyer
There's no better way to describe it than Left4Dead crossed with Geometry Wars.

The L4D similarities are quite remarkable in places (4 survivors, one is a black guy in a shirt and tie, flare things to attract the zombie hoard, etc.) I dunno how they've got away with it.
That's all irrelevant when it's such a big, stupid, zombie killing blast to play. Once I got my hands on the minigun I was grinning like a big twat as I mowed down the zombies in their bloody masses. And I love the daft sounds the little teddy bears make

It's well worth 800 of your magic MS points, you miserable buggers!!!

I'm full of love...and C4. Good game, hard with all of the instant kill zombies, shotgunners and flame zombies though. Well worth the 800 points.

There seems to be a fair bit to consider; do you go for risky chainsaw kills to up your multiplier or play it safe, rescuing the survivors, when to use the barrels, environmental kills, weapon choice, etc. etc.
I've not even touched the multiplayer yet

I hope Zombie Apocalypse is good, I just clicked on the buy button on Xbox.com instead of download demo.

Gonna have to go downstairs now and try out my new purchase.

It's pretty fun. Not really my type of game, but I can see it being a quick distraction.

I bought the Fishing Girl game as well, that I did like a lot. Good balance between child gaming and frantic as the time ticks down.

Yesterday's stuff...
Warriors... slow, fiddly and no fun...
Zombie Apocalypse... Ok I suppose...
Ion Storm.... Looked nice, but the charge to fire and the rotate instead of point to shoot just seems to be an effort to seperate it from the other Arena shooters... Still probably the pick of the bunch this week...

Pinball FX then I think....
