Brilliant stuff, even more so when you consider it was created over just 24 (well, 26 apparently) hours.

Did well this week. Dropped a lot of comics. Only got Action Comics and OMAC.

Action Comics is turning into a bit of a mess.

Yeah, my DC 52 list is being whittled down rapidly. I'm sticking with All Star Western, mainly because I haven't read my back issues of it yet. Animal Man and Swamp Thing are both on the edge- I'm not really enjoying either of them. Had a look back on the respective Morrison and Moore runs on the titles, and realised what I loved about the old ones (apart from generally being better written) is that each issue usually had a self-contained story (especially in the case of Swamp Thing). But these new versions just seen to be dragging the same long story out... it might work better in trades, but on a month to month basis it's pretty frustrating.

Action Comics will probably the next to go- another one where I'm just not really enjoying it. That said I've not read the last two issues, so maybe it's picked up. That whole battle against the Transformers type things (the one where the battle was wrapped in a back-up story) was terrible. :(

Just caught up on Batman Inc. The Leviathan story has been just as intense as R.I.P/Return of Bruce Wayne.

Can't wait for Morrison's last lap of Batman. Hopefully DC will collect the whole run well in big omnibus editions.

I'm still reading Action Comics and I'm even more interested in it now we've got the time travel and out of place Adult LSH curveball. I'm also still reading Teen Titans (For now anyway), Superman, Flash, Blue Beetle (Someone has to even though it's trying far too hard to be grim and edgy). Also still reading and enjoying LSH. I'm about ready to give Legion Lost the heave ho. It's pointless. I've dropped Animal Man, Deathstroke (No point now it's got the stench of future death around it) and one or two others.

To counter that I've started picking up more X-Titles. Loving Uncanny X-Men and X-Force. Wolverine and the X-Men. Generation Hope is good. X-Factor is so back on form it's smoking. Given what's going on I suspect a major shift in the way Madrox's duplicates work is in the future. If it's what I suspect it'll make for some great storytelling opportunities and also some good humour.

I keep buying them but I had to move them into the loft to decorate, and now I'm fucking tonnes behind, yet my minor OCD won't let me not buy them. FFS.

Do you have them all Mars? Fall, End & Quest? I admit it's one of my favourite bat-stories of all time.

Just finished Fall and have ordered End. Fall was bloody brilliant :D Sounds like the next 2 volumes have been received less positively but I want to keep reading :)

yeah, it's probably too small to see on that copy but his neat D---> signature is down the bottom left I read his 2 books with Frank Miller recently, both would be pretty pointless if not for the art, which is mindblowing in the level of mad detail. I've always got my eyes open for any issues of Shaolin Cowboy

Also last week's The Boys was epic madness. It must be nearly finished.

John Landis' son retells The Death and Return of Superman, with Elijah Wood and Mandy Moore and Simon Pegg:

If I saw this video, I might nerd rage out so hard. But luckily I made it, so I'm pretty happy. Really I'd hope people just are with me, and happy that Guy Gardner and Bloodwynd get to be in a movie.

Best bit:

. :D

I've never read Hard-Boiled, but I read "Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot" a while ago and Larry and Andy Wachowski turn up in the credits of the fake mock-up covers gallery at the back of the book. That's the only pre-Matrix comic work they were involved with that I've ever come across.

Indeed - I thought it was finishing at 70, but cant see it going past about Issue 66 now. Not much flashback stuff to cover now to extend things unless we get some Homelander stuff?

I've been re-reading some Alfred Alcala & co, He-Man stories that used to packaged with the figures as a kid. I am reading downloads of them, which are brilliant as chances of buying these are really fucking slim.

Stuff like below really rock my world:-

Ironically today comicbookresources put up the following article which is worth a read:-

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=36823

All good stuff, im trying to find the story where Man-At-Arms's robot learns emotions. All i remember is the cover being a Action Comics parody cover with Roberto lifting up one of the dinosaur vechiles.

there might be 4 issues of Billy Butcher stoving people's heads in while Hughie cries in the background.

What is going on with Marvel release schedules? In one month from Economic Comics I have one X-Factor, 2 Wolverines, 2 Wolverine & the X-Men and 3 (!) Amazing Spider-man. What is this shit?

Oh yeah, that reminds me...what's the deal with Wolverine & the X-Men: Alpha & Omega? Any good? Seems dumb having two on the go at once. Released on the same day.

The IDW TMNT trade is out. It's fucking great.

I've just been in the loft "tidying" and found all the Dreamwave Transformers I bought. I bought all the covers and the dealer incentive. I wasted so much money at university.

How much is the TMNT tpb? I have most of the original issues at my mums but it'd be nice to have them to read them again without the trip south.

£13.99 from Forbidden Planet, so prolly about a tenner on amazon.

Oh...according to Amazon it's not out yet. They've done this with the Mass Effect art book

http://www.amazon.co...28918758&sr=8-2

Forbidden Planet definitely has both though.

Awesome i'm off to FP in an hour, how many issues are in it Moose?

Anyone read Secret Avengers #22 yet? Jesus that book has fucked me off and put me off Remender. I think very little of Marvel, but thought better of him.

I'm not sure, I think it's the first 6. It ends

when they find Raphael

. Don't read that if you haven't got all the comics. I was surprised that it came out so quick after the first arc ended, to be honest.
