I have a feeling that if we were to quiz you, you would be able to recognise the most notable anime boobs just from chest shots.

"Ah Faye Valentine's rack. Adequate sized but perhaps with a hint of too much jiggle. B-"

It wasn't until after I posted the image that I realised the T-shirt motif is more than highly (in)appropriate,,,,

Why? She was clearly just painting the walls.

Yeah but whose?

Edit: I feel as if I should be making an effort to discuss anime properly rather than make up crude jokes but oh well.

Is there anything worth watching this season?

Fate Zero, if you've followed previous stuff

Lupin the Third: Mine tits Fujiko. I've been watching the old shows and so far this new show it's showing how they all first met. Mostly by shagging Fujiko, it seems. Even Zenigata.

Sakamichi no Apollon is worth a shout as well I guess although I'm still not convinced. Tsuritama's also quite neat and there's Jormungand which is sort of like Black Lagoon but with perhaps too many additional members.

Eureka Seven AO, is somehow promising as is the bewildering resurrection of Studio DEEN with Sankarea and of course there's KyoAni's Hyouka which while pretty, has yet to do anything of substance beyond character setup.

Oh and Space Brothers whose art keeps giving me Nodame Cantabile vibes.

Edit: Actually speaking of Eureka Seven, bit of a spoilery ramble:

Everyone's been wondering when and where the series was set. Now am I completely misremembering the series wrong or was the original Earth inside a scub coral shell in the original series? If it was, wouldn't it make some kind of sense for Eureka to fall down?

Of course I could have just looked up wikipedia to remind myself of the plot....

There's nothing worth watching. Smash your heads off of many brick walls until the blood in your eyes blinds you to the horror that is modern anime.

Then watch Macross.

It's distinctly less pedo-shit than previous seaons!*

*Although still contains some abominations of shows like Sengoku Collection.

At least it has semi-classy tits for you in the form of new Lupin.

Fujiko never did it for me, the slut.

Cheers guys, I'll start with Fujiko and Hyouka then, and maybe Jormungand if I'm still hungry. Thanks!

Yeah, it seems a bit weird.

Earth was inside a shell which went away at the end of the old series and this seems to be 13+ years later, depending on when exactly Eureka got knocked up. But in some ways it also seems older than the old show, with ordinary seafaring military ships and ordinary helicopters when they used to have big flying wings and stuff. Could it be another alternate world like the movie was? I don't remember seeing the Moon yet and there's been occasions where they seem to carefully avoid showing it.

Well assuming there isn't any scub coral beyond the random bursts happening, wouldn't that mean there's less trappar around to accomadate large size vehicles like battleships and large air based ships? Kinda got that feeling during that scene where they were getting excited because the trappar levels went up.

Hey all, I was about to buy Gundam Seed (and perhaps Gundam Seed Destiny) on DVD, as you can get the boxsets from Amazon and eBay - but it just occurred to me that as the series are quite old, someone here might have them and not want them anymore.

So, does anyone here have the boxsets of Gundam Seed and/or Gundam Seed Destiny, and want rid of them, before I go order them? As I thought I might save a fiver.

Stop!

Gundam Seed Destiny is the worst sequel to anything of all time, and will set you off on a dark path of hating all modern anime, turning your poorly-corrupted mind instead to nothing but hentai.

Start with the original '71 series. It's only 20ish episodes. For the mental there is a 1080p BD rip - 1.4gb per ep, but there is no reason to avoid the 300mb versions. Bakabt has everything thats been subbed. Looking now they have 480p,720p versions as well. You could watch Castle of Cagliostro first, but neither that nor the '71 series are the same as the second series.

I've watched about 100 episodes of various things in the last 2 weeks, most unusual, I've not done that for a couple of years now.

I still have a VHS tape of Lupin and the Fuma Conspiracy lurking in some cupboard at my parents. Never seen a copy of it on DVD.

Only seen that and the movie. Looking forward to the new series.

There was a rather useful batch torrent that appeared on Tokyotosho a few weeks back containing the first 3 series of Lupin. The first seasons video aren't perhaps the greatest quality and the subs leave a lot to be desired but they're certainly watchable enough.

Is anyone else watching Gundam Age?

I'm enjoying it, although the story is a little simplistic. They've left a lot of hints that it's going to twist around a bit before the end so I'm still holding out hope that it'll have an excellent ending..

Just started watching this now. I completely forgot that Episode 4 of Gundam Unicorn came out ages ago as well.

EDIT: I was wondering what the Gundam Cheat Code would be for this season. 'AGE system'

This AGE system is basically Sasuke level cheat codes :hmm:

Anyone know where Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Vol3 will be out on Blu Ray over here?

It won't be. They cancelled further BD releases because they weren't selling enough to justify the cost of BD production, they say. The US ones are locked from Vol. 3 onwards too, so that's not an option unless you are region free.

You could always watch it in hideous dubbed form on Netflix.
