BAP Suspensions and Injuries - Season 17

23 posts in this topic

Details of bans and games out due to injury will be added once the season starts.

Injury draws will be recorded and posted each week.

Please note that bans and suspensions cover League and BAP Cup matches only. The pre-season friendly (Athletico) cup is not affected by this.

Players not available for week 11 (The Cup):

Relevant info:

Player discipline

Virtual players who accrue a number of cards over the season face suspension from future fixtures

Yellow card = 1 caution

Red card = 2 cautions

...

2 cautions = virtual player suspended for 1 week

4 cautions = virtual player suspended for an additional 2 weeks

6 cautions = virtual player suspended for an additional 3 weeks

etc

Also, the limit before fines are applied to a team for disciplinary issues are to be raised from 500k per 10 points to 500k per 20 points.

The points values per card remain unchanged : YC are worth 2 points, RC are worth 6 points.

Notes

* Any suspensions will only kick in the following week (ie getting a red card in the first match of the night will not ban that player for the second match).

* Fielding a banned player will result in a 500k fine for the club. Repeated offences will result in increased measures being taken.

* Just in case you don't follow.. player = the FIFA guy in the squad, not the human controlling him!

Player injuries

With immediate effect, player injuries are to be introduced to the BAP league.

Mangers are to report all injuries in their matches (as listed on the match details timeline screen) as part of the match reporting process via the website.

For each injury the following random chance of injury is applied:

70% - No effect.

20% - 1 week lay off.

5% - 2 weeks lay off.

2% - 3 weeks lay off

1% - 4 weeks lay off

1% - 5 weeks lay off

1% - Full season lay off.

Note:

If a player is injured multiple times during the match, he gets multiple picks on the injury draw and the punishments are combined consecutively.

These are the little FIFA guys, not the human players, who are injured and unable to play!

You're welcome to do it yourself next season if you are concerned about the legitimacy of the draw.

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't go to the lengths of recording 37 different videos until he finally got one where both your players are miraculously injured and all ours survive unscathed for the completely coincidental title-deciding match between our two sides on the final day of the season. Oh no.

Well played Mike, no one suspects a thing! *wink wink, nudge nudge*
