Primavera looks good as ever, although I've heard from people last year that it was getting a little too big. Don't know if the capacity has changed with the Porto event happening as well.

I also have tickets for the potentially hideous Stone Roses show at Heaton Park.
Otherwise I usually go to Beautiful Days or Solfest.

oooh, is that right? I mean, don't get me wrong, what i've seen so far is good enough - basically, it would be good enough if modeselektor just played the whole day - but if you say there's more good stuff on the way...I've got Sonar booked, was pleased by the recent lineup announcement - lots of good stuff for me. If you love dance music you'll have a ball guaranteed, and loads of the acts haven't been announced yet.

I'd love to go to Gilles Peterson's Worldwide festival in France. How i'll pull it off is another matter though.
Come to Mostly Jazz in Birmingham. He's one of the 'curators'.

(un)surprising how expensive these things are so quickly though, but hey, MUST STOP THINKING ABOUT THE MONEY for a second - music!!!

I love the line up at Bloc, but ideally I want to get out of London, do a bit of camping/outdoorsie stuff.

I think I'm going to make an effort to get there to see the JBs. Shame it's not the south of France though.
Let me know if you do go. I'll be there all weekend with the family but I'm sure I can make time to have a pint of purity with a fellow 'murkker if you fancy it.
