Mike is the Master Fryers fast food joint close to you? Kebabs, fish+chips, southern fried chicken, no pineapple listed, probably not you're favoured spot. Soccer am away days spent about 30secs on Southampton, obviously a boring hole.

I'm closer to Portsmouth than Southampton, but a quick google maps look shows I'm about 11 miles away from it.

Exciting, no?

A heads up - the squad update is out, Vanden Borre is down to 68 overall, ffs! Though I may have a new RB in Alderweireld. Lukaku seems to have taken a hit with his stats. Courtois is now the better keeper. I'll leave it to the experts to assess the rest.

The Big question is, why do you not see white dog shit anymore? Also is Van damme back?

I'll be on early as usual for pre-BAP clubs chaps. If Mac and his gang are around I'm sure we all could do with a game or two with the changed squads!

Changes:

Mignolet the GK was always our worst rated GK, but he has the best stats for handling/reflexes/diving so we've stuck with him.
The RB Vanden Borre has gained a face () but his stats seem the same - still our best RB option.
LCB Vermaelen seems to be a little slower than he was, so Razzle might prefer to swap him with our LB Vertonghen now (who is a CB by trade). He's a little taller, has better jumping and slightly better speed.
LM Witsel seems to have had his acceleration nerfed a bit.
ST Lukaku seems to have dropped two points (down to 75) but his useful stats seem unaffected so all good there.

So yeah not much change. The only change I might suggest is swapping the LB with LCB but that's upto Razzle!

Good stuff.

I'll take a look through at the options for LM because I'm not convinced on Witsel. He's been run into the ground by Gerry tbh.

I thought that so had a look just before. I'd suggest Dembele there. He has good pace, and good passing and crossing. He's also left-footed so you can get those first time crosses in. ;)

I'm happy to swap players if there's a quicker option out there and if it's a proper centre back then that's even better.

I was terrible at CDM, still we managed six point ps from town and tbh 3 goals which were harsh on them in the first game, but we played well in the second.

Good games, I was glad to kick bleeders that was ace.

Aye, despite Gerry's skill vacuum we still did well enough to get the points. Well done everyone *

Defence was fantastic tonight - especially Razz and Rogue take a bow lads. Town had a right old go in the first, so we did well to hold out, and the second how Town didn't score who knows - but again the defence did well to keep 'em out. We could've had more goals too if we stuck to simple A passing and the like! Top stuff gents :hat:

Great games lads! The defence were amazing! Be interesting to see the highlights to figure out exactly what the penalties were for?? I think we can thank the FIFA gods for those! ;)

Good position to be in at this point of the season!

Well played chaps, you deservedly won that second game with a clinical performance. Felt we deserved something from the first, but save for several bullshit refereeing decisions, it wasn't to be. :(
