Seem like this has been out for a while as it can be picked up on Bluray from the likes of Amazon etc here no problem. From what I can work out though its out in the States on the "On Demand" services and in the cinemas today.

Anyone seen it?

The redband trailer makes it look amazing.

I went into it completely blind. It is awesome, very funny film. Nicely turns 'teens out in the country' horror genre upside down in the first 10 minutes or so.

Saw the workprint ages ago. It's a must buy bluray to be honest. If only for the woodchipper and "we have had a doozy of a day" delivery.

Quite enjoyable, yeah, not going to blow your mind and by the end I was starting to lose interest a little but good, non-taxing fun regardless

Just watched this, it's definitely something OK to do for eighty minutes. I thought the two leads were excellent but it's one of those films that seems to set everything up perfectly and then doesn't manage to be as funny as you had expected.

It's only a fiver on blu ray at HMV at the mo. It's almost certainly a misprice but could be worth ordering

Solid 8 country, great film - nothing wrong with it but a bit underwhelming on the laughs and a few plot points could have been made more out of. Still enjoyed it and it's one of the best recent movies I've watched.

I really enjoyed the film, as did the missus who went into it not knowing a thing about it (I started the film playing just as she came into the living room) and she initially judged it as your standard Teen Slasher flick, ended up sitting down around because of the presence of Alan Tudyk, stuck around and really enjoyed it up to the end. She's not a massive horror film fan outside of the classics so the fact we both were able to sit and enjoy this one says a lot.

Just finished watching it. Like someone above I went into it completely blind and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Watched this last night. Its decent enough, it just got a bit too silly near the end for our liking though. Good twist for the horror genre though. Worth a watch.

It got a bit silly near the end? It is silly all the way through (in a good way).

Yeah i know, i just thought it lost something about 3/4 the way through. The "tea scene" where the black guy comments seemed a bit stupid. It was still decent dont get me wrong.

I thought its failing was that it got a bit conventional towards the end, abandoning some of the silliness in favour of the redemptive blah blah blah stuff.

Still good though, mind.

The first 1/3 was absolutely great. Then it got dull as shit...

Heads up this is on Lovefilm streaming now.

Thought it was really enjoyable and I'm glad I hadn't watched the trailer as it spoils a lot of the best bits.

I really enjoyed the workprint, despite not enjoying standard horror at all or having a clue what I was about to watch. I'd definitely buy it for a fiver but don't have blu-ray.

Saw this over Christmas and agree with the general thoughts in the thread, that it was good but lost something when it reverted to type. I did spend most of the film wondering why the lead girl looked familiar though, then saw she is in 30 Rock.

Watched this on Netflix earlier and I thought it was fantastic.

No scares but some good laughs and great characters. Loads of fun.
