No massive surprises but they're all fine games anyway, so well done to rllmuk (and to revlob for all the hard work)! :hat:

Nice work Revlob...

No real surprises, just confirms there is nothing wrong with Rllmuks taste (most of the time atleast :P)

Nice to see Bayonetta love. :)

Looks a lot like the GAF GotY list as well, which says a lot about the quality of these games.

It seems I really need Mass Effect 2 then... but I can't deal with the thought of having to complete the first one.

Excellent work revlob! :D

What does it say about Square and the FF franchise that they made the Hall of Shame list with not one but two FF games? Impressive achievement.

Oh and Nap, get Mass Effect 2 you nutter it's bloody brilliant!

Just do it. It will pay off in the long run.

You can finish ME1 in about 7 hrs or even less if you just stick to the main quest line, which is advisable anyway as all the side stuff is filler shit.

If you do this little chore it will properly pay off and you can experience the rllmuk goty in it's full awesome glory . :D

you are me... although I chose not to complete the first one as it was brain meltingly boring once I got to a certain point. I've heard the second one is much improved though.

What I thought was nice was that the PS3 and 360 categories are made up of entirely different games this year.

Interesting how many single format games there are on each list though, strange that Red Dead Redemption (which I haven't played but is, I gather, one of the more acclaimed titles of 2010) didn't make the PS3 list. I wonder if Rllmuk's PS3s are used often for exclusives whilst the 360s are used for it's exclusives and multiformat titles.

No Deadly Premonition :(

Or Fallout: New Vegas.

Or Dead Rising 2.

I never thought I'd say this, but pull down the blinds. I'm closing the bureau...for an hour.

I think more than anything it just says we had some really strong exclusives in 2010. All platforms have done well, it was a great 12 months for gaming and 2011 looks set to be another fantastic year.

FO NV was second best PC game!

Id describe it as a very colourful list... Across all 3 big platforms there are great gamers games for everyone. Long may it continue!

The best PS3 game is Heavy Rain? You bunch of pricks.

Vanquish not getting a mention anywhere is a crime of biblical proportions.

I've got Mass Effect 2 sat sealed on my shelf. Once I've done with AC2 and killing Italians, I'm on it like a dog on a leg.

Heavy Rain? Really? Man alive.

None of the PS3 top five in the main top five. Just goes to show...something, I guess.

Just complete it. Mass Effect 2 is great but Mass Effect 1 is better in some respects and it has one the best final couple of hours of any game, ever. Plus there's a lot of stuff in ME2 which won't mean as much if you don't finish ME1. I know it's a bit clunky but if you just play through the main story and do some stuff on the Citadel it won't take that long.

This is totally a result of the multiple, piecemeal catagorisation that I lobbied to bin this year. A few games will receive false accolade simply due to their platform exclusivity, while a whole slew of multiplatform titles unfairly miss out. Vanquish & SSFIV are two examples that I though rllmuk would have placed highly in these goty "awards" but I guess not. I certainly did vote for them.

Nice work Revlob!

Pretty gutted about the lack of Rock Band 3 (and I was expecting Blur to get a bit more love) but really pleased to see Picross 3D scrape into the top five.

For what it's worth, I think extending the voting to five for each category was a smart move.

Great list, well done RLLMUK. It's really odd to see New Vegas ahead of Starcraft 2 and Civ5 in the PC results though
