I can see why redbloodcel would want the results removed rather than the remaining fixtures going to pools panel. If he had the two losses he registered against Lee removed he'd have a decent chance of winning the league!
Nice try Bloodseed! ;)

Poppa's other 2 are against poor old Shoes, I somehow don't think he'd be registering 2 losses for them ;)

Me again! I'm guessing that Season 23 won't kick off until after the January transfer window is shut and players moved about, right? What's the normal (lol) procedure from EA regarding that, will it be incoming on Feb 1st? Also does it usually accompany a mid-season patch a la FM or will they leave the game pretty much as is?

League dates are in the ticket office thread. No idea if they align as EA don't have a set date as far as I know.

There is usually a patch to update squads but it won't be out until after you've picked your team. There'll be winners and losers thats for sure!

If the window closes on the 2nd Feb I can't see there being a patch for at least a week after that point.

Even then EA will find some way to fuck it up.

I expect Martins to turn into a 7ft ginger haired defender.

As long as people keep abreast (lol) of the transfers happening around Europe it shouldn't be too bad, the top teams will probably be buying early. Except for Spurs of course, who will purchase someone in the last 30 seconds of the window.

I'm just really hoping that PSV replace Affellay with someone good or I'm going to have to pick someone else!

It's also worth keeping tabs on how your potential teams are performing! Teams and players get stats adjustments if they have had a good or rotten season.

So in short. Don't pick Liverpool!

Werder have been shit this season, they'll probably be back down to 4*, might still try to get them again though!

With Cassano leaving there is no way I will be Sampdoria again. They are as good as a 1 man team.

Who's responsible for updating the latest news?

The last update was 15th Nov. It would be better if the updates were more often.

Aye, twas Beejay this year. He's left the 1v1 league in any case, meaning...

The mantle of 'Website News' updater is still up for grabs if anyone fancies a bash for Season 23.

FIFA 10 was dead to me.
FIFA 11 is an abortion in BAP.

It adds character.

But... but... FIFA 10 is mentioned directly below in the opening blurb on the site. ;)

Just a suggestion for the Website News section; what about having a representative from each league reporting on their own league's weekly shenanigans and posting them to the home page or even sending them onto someone who could post them? I imagine it's quite a task for a single person having to wade through the statistical data for each league then picking and choosing the highlights of that week.

It's like buses in here, nowt for months then two interested parties within an hour or each other!

Poppa's signalled his intension of being Website News updater-man (official title) for next season, so big kudos to him. Fry dude, if you're still interested, you could see if you and Poppa wanna share responsibilities. As for the task itself, it just takes up a bit of time rather than being particularly difficult to do, if you get me. :)
