Unless you really want to retain individual club stats, I don't think having separate clubs for each BAP team really adds much. I'm not even sure if BAP teams will want to use clubs, given the changes from last year.

ps. Sorry Craig. I was happy to carry on with the existing club, but no-one wanted to be called Fiorentina Turner.

Oh, and we need defenders!

Im happy for City to merge in this :o

Even if more than one teams worth of people show up you can have 3 seperate club matches going cant you?

With people dropping in and our of clubs willy nilly it might be worth making a few members 'co-managers' so they can ping out invites when your not about Mike.

Cool.

Yup, I think it's 3.

No problemo. I forgot (and no-one reminded me!) last night to give it out.

I haven't been on BAP yet as I only got '10 last night, so what are these changes you mention?

It's not pick a club anymore, it's all based on the virtual pro you create, so it's not so useful for BAP teams to practice on.

It's great to see your own player in the game though.

Yeah there's a dressing room where all members can join and three match rooms.

So in theory, you could have three teams of ten playing all at once :(

On FIFA 09, you could have 50 members in a club, I don't know what the limit is for this but theres already 15+ I think.

It's a great laugh, except for when you get a 7ft striker versus a 4ft keeper :o

Oh yeah. If you choose to make a forward or a CB, please consider making him quite tall :o

Yeah, my CDM last night was 6ft 2, not many balls were launched to the centre of the pitch though :o

I reckon you need at least one 6ft+ guy per line

I think one thing is clear from last night's matches.

Rovers have got one hell of a decent striker in Supercat. We fell apart once he moved to LB.

Are the Club tactics based on the club badge and team we use? Because playing RB last night, the arrows kept putting me in mental positions, it was asking me to bomb on all day long (so it wasnt just my idea :o )

We whee playing some sort of funky 4-2-2-2 if I remember right.

Mine was literally telling to go box to box. I was RDM but it seemed that Wallbob was getting alot more freedom at LDM, either that or he was getting poor ratings

Random question: Does the physical appearance of your player (i.e. weight/height) have any affect on his performance?

I don't think it did on '09 which was a bit silly, you could have a 6'7 monster dancing about the pitch like he was Messi's younger, more agile brother.

If not, you might as well just go with the tallest player you can physically create again.

Yeah.

When you create a pro you have base attributes, which are based on height and weight (and maybe build). So taller or fatter = slower and stronger.

Well this was stated by the producer, saying that you couldn't have a 7ft mammoth - who was also the fastest player in the game.

Granted, he said about Usain Bolt but he said he is a rare case.

So when you change your height, your stats change slightly. So even if you did get to 99 speed with a 7ft guy, he wouldnt be as fast a 99 speed 5ft guy

:o

It takes it all into account now. When choosing Height and Weight there is a chart below showing changes to your agility, strength, speed. So match your physic. :o

It's agreed then. Yawdib needs to create a pro and listen to Martin Tyler explain it all :o

I dont think you could get to 99 speed with a tall guy as there arent enough points to add on in the achievements. :( Which is obviously a good thing.

Yeah but even if you could, he wouldnt be as fast as a 99 midget. But the midget wouldnt be as strong even if he was at 99 strength

Most nights. Created player positions are auto selected based on your pro's position. Human positions are open, though you'd want to be your pro of course.

It's not ideal as the captain who has access to the squad screen has to tell everyone where they are.
