Haha, extra points for the near monolithic status you've given the Curly Wurly.
More than anything else, I'm just surprised Adam Capone owns a cooker and knows how to use it. I always pictured him scrabbling around on a chip shop floor looking for 'treasures'
And he eats a shit load of green beans!
Here's my dinner - spicy belly pork with coriander dumplings.
I reckon I'd give that whole lot a seeing to in one sitting. With rice. Looks lovely.
I ate them myself.
This thread is making me damned hungry I might have to go to the greasy spoon for lunch now!
Today's dish is a sweet killer combination of Melon and mince meat.
I particularly like the artful arrangement of the spaghetti over the melon.
Wonderful stuff up to and including the ice lolly. I think it's had it's day now, with much respect.
Mozzarella stuffed meatballs in a roasted red pepper sauce - mmm tasty.
Killing me here!!
That sounds and looks amazing!
It tasted pretty amazing too
Did you make it all yourself? I'd love the recipe, if you did. What did you have it with?
pretty much - for the meatballs 500g of mince, 50g breadcrumbs, 75g of mozzarella, some finely chopped fresh parsley, a teaspoon of oregano , 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper and 2 crushed cloves of garlic.
the sauce is 1 small onion diced, 200m of beef stock, 2 jars of asda roasted red pepper meze (or the equivalent from your supermarket) , 2 tbsp tomato puree, juice of 1 orange and 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar.
Put the mince, breadcrumbs, garlic, herbs and seasoning in a bowl and mix together well then shape into 12 golf ball sized pieces and flatten out. Divide the mozzarella into 12 bits place in the middle of the patty them close around and pinch it so it doesn't split.
put 3 tablespoons of olive oil in the pan and fry the meatballs for 10 mins turning occasionally to make sure they cook evenly then remove from the pan and stick on a plate.
Add the onion to the juices in the pan and cook till it softens then add the peppers, orange juice, tomato puree, stock and vinegar stir together and bring to the boil. Give the whole mixture a quick puree with a hand blender (just to make the sauce smooth) then place the meatballs back in the pan and simmer on a low heat for about 25 mins.
I served on a bed of spaghetti with a sprig of parsley on top for colour
Dead easy to make and tastes superb.
Makes enough for 4 - 6 people (or 3 fat gits)
Outstanding, thanks. Looking forward to that.
no probs - makes me wish I'd taken more pics and done a davros with it now
You'll just have to make it again!
i may just have to do that soon - my ultimate meatballs

Ahh epic dinner post;
Roast fillet of pork, sweet potato mash & balsamic shallots
Salmon Tikka with coriander, chilli & cucumber yoghurt on naan.
Cheesecake, served on mug.
...... but it's with broccoli man - BROCCOLI.I dare not say what that looks like in this food thread.
I dare not say what that looks like in this food thread.
Broccoli is delicious.
Ahh epic dinner post;Lasagne
I'm now 100% decided that I'm making lasagne at the weekend.
Indeed. With a slight bite and dipped in soy it's quite fantastic.
I'm not saying it's not - Broccoli with sausage, cheese and mayo on toast, not for me.
Cauliflower & Broccoli Cheese is ace though.
I must admit I took this ages ago. I haven't got my other photo's online at the mo.
It was lush though, should make another quiche very soon!
Home-grown spuds cut up dinkily, par-boiled then fried in a little olive oil, chilli flakes, pepper and a pinch of ground coriander.
Simple fare, some would say one dimensional, but there you have it - that was my dinner.
Char Sui Weetabix
Bravo Capone, Bravo.

I don't like those pictures of Capone's. I'm sure they're not his dinner and they make food look like something revolting.
It was a laugh the first time, but it still made me feel sick. The plate was doing a pretty good job of that already!
This. He shits in his hand, post it and everyone falls over themselves to say how hilarious it is. I say WANK.
