It's an excellent review - very well written.

Can't agree with you on the "R3" missions from the previous games being missing or lacking in GTA4. The side missions are the best part about it. The car text theft missions, assasination missions and most wanted/current crimes are the high point of the game. The rest? You hit the nail on the head.

I thought it was a bit of a self indulgent wankathon of a review, I didnt get past about the fourth paragraph because of it.

I wouldnt normally mention but everywhere I have turned in the last 15 mins on this forum I have seen you begging for feedback on it, so there you go.

What can I say, I love to indulge, and I did have a wank in the middle of writing it, so I guess it makes sense.

Pretty dull opening page, skipped to the end, completely agree with the last paragraph.

If I were to review it myself, I'd say it's probably too long and not funny enough. And it lacks poetry. 6/10. My first draft was worse, too negative and horribly written.

But for a first review ever, I'm fairly happy. Next time I'm gonna go for a slightly more Biffo/Charlie Brookerish approach. The good people at GamingVerdict are sending me a PS3 game to review next, so watch this space. I'm going to be the biggest thing since anal sex.

Nope. Saw his tv show a while back though, it was a bit duff.

He needs to get a proper TV Digitiser going. A sort of gaming version of Screenwipe, even.

Chase your review is brilliant. If anything, not quite negative enough but I agree with what you've said and it was quite eloquently written.
