hello Onze I will send you a friend request at lunchtime and have a quick crack on these two events, I have some Phantasy star to play tonight and I will not venture on after that this evening or I will get sucked in like lastnight and it will be wee small hours before I get to bed again, how long are we running this callenge for the week or just going to see when we get bored?

Maybe we should start from the beginning on Stahlwerk for each. Lets say, I dunno, cut off is Sunday midnight? Unless people want to do it in 5 day chunks? I'll change my post. Or unless people want to post every score they have for both gametypes? I'm no good at this decisive thing...

poop just stuck a score on oceanliner at lunch :) nevermind I shall have a run through the stahlwerk levels tomorrow. personally I prefer having a challenge level for the week than a free for all, we can probably push each others scores higher if we are focused on a couple of challenges a week. sunday at midnight seems like as good a time as any to end each week.

its fine, really, I was just loving the change of location, as after my marathon session the other night the Stahlwerk was beginning to feel a bit samey.

either way I just love trying to squeeze more points out of the game, I hadnt appreciated just how much extra you get for a head shot or even a normal shot when the bad guys are in cover, it gives a great anticipation to a run should I wait and see if that bad ass mo fo is going to duck or should I pop his head now before the combo bleed begins.

also we need to start calling the challenges by the name rather than sprint or whatever, I noticed just now that stahlwerk has two sprints

Sprint - Pressed into Action
Sprint - A View to a Mill

I say we go with pressed into action as it is the first one and I have had enough of view to a mill for a while :)

the run the gauntlet level is

Run The Gauntlet - Run of the Mill

good lord I am quite a bossy twat :D

Sound, I'll change the post now.
And Bingo, that's cool man

Also, going to add the 'rules' that any character can be used and you can post as many scores as you want before cutoff. The highest will be recorded.

Here are mine:

Bingox - Pressed Into Action - 4,268,962
Bingoz - Run Of The Mill - 4,852,289

I'm sure I'll be able to improve on those before the week is out.

I tried to add you Moosegrinder - but it seems you are far too popular and your list is full!

I know on my pressed into action either onze or bingo has 4,322,000ish and 4,007,000ish respectively and I landed square between them on the leaderboard we currently hold 31,32,33 cannot remember exactly what the scores are, and same again on the other one the scores on my friends leader board are all fairly close really not much to seperate them, should be fun trying to milk the extra combo and bonuses to see who can get the best score overall.

Ooh I can't wait to get properly into this. Just blasting through the levels at the mo when I get time. I almost won one of the tournaments without any retries all on levels I'd not done before, so I'm definitely getting better already. I love how it starts to become second nature.

You're practically goading me to aren't you. I only had one or two goes to get these scores - dont want to push at them too much and put everybody off from competing:

Pressed Into Action - 4,531,604
Run Of The Mill - 5,207,586

Both are long stages so there is tonnes of scope for improvement - didnt get all the skull shots nor the bonus guys.

My run of the 'Mill' still has a lot of room for improvement as I'ml mising a skullshot - and I still can't see where the bonus guy is. I may try a couple of reckless runs to figure it out.

Edit - Found the bonus guy and last skullshot and managed to improve a bit. Still nowhere near getting a perfect run - too many missed opportunities.

Took a while that did, and really forced me to learn it quite well. Missing one skullshot somewhere though. And still missing the bonus guy on 'Run of the Mill'

Right, looking at the leaderboards some people who have posted in here have bettered their score. Should the rules be that if I see better scores I post them or people have to post them themselves? Personally I don't mind, but a bit more pro-activeness on the players parts wunt go amiss ;)
