Invitation To A Beheading

Let the man atone for his sins. That way, you could flog his corpse with a clean conscience.
Meet me in KDF-GY tomorrow evening. Alone.
Choose your weapon (I only have a Rifter, but I can improvise). Then we'll see what he's worth.

Is there some sort of fight going on here? After school?

Title : Runnaway Minmatar slave brought to justice.
edit : Yeah, volunteers are welcome.
Edit : Ok Gorfy I docked at your outpost before I logged. Will be back on later tonight.

Gorf started it, Mr Hairdesk.

He invaded Matar!
Anyway, fight of the century's off for tonight, I'm afraid: an old friend just called me for a bit of a social soiree and I shouldn't think I'll back back home before the sun is.
Friday or Saturday, then, if you're still in the area. I'll have to kit up, though, if I can find anything fittable. It'll all be unnamed T1 stuff, I reckon.
By the way - could you close that 'auction' officially, please - before the deadline? As otherwise I'm going to have to withdraw my offer of salvation, as there's no way I'm going to be saddled with a bill for that fecker.
Posted 12 October 2006 - 05:07 PM
I also have to kit up as I have to buy different things. (t1 is ok by me)
Auction now closed.

Now to save his soul...what little is left of it.
Yeah, I don't actually play at all, really: haven't logged Gorf on for a few nights now. ISSN will be wondering what the feck I'm up to - then when I do log on, I'll be using corp stuff to immediately disregard whatever op's going on in order to fly off on my own and engage a neutral, totally contrary to our RoE.
I imagine there's a 70% chance of my being podded by corpies before I even get to you.
Posted 12 October 2006 - 05:35 PM
Imagine a rouge Minmatar cooperating with a rouge Amarr. One fighting to avenge the betrayal of his corp mates, the other fighting for the pleasure indiscriminately killing provides.
Dynamic duo we would have been.
I saved Slaveabuser! lolz - the irony, rofflz.
I'm glad you talked me out of it.
Much apreciated. Much apreciated.

EDIT - nice work in the trailer, by the way, Mr Abuser.

I take it that reference to 'your' technology means you'll be using purist Amarr tech and not nicking modules from the 'inferior' races, hmm (*cough autocannon *cough*)? Of course, I'll be flying pure Minmatar - the Choice of Heroes.
Btw, that wife and son thing - nowt to do with me, mate. Well, the son is, yes - I will admit to a minor indiscretion some 9 months before he was born (you must surely have noticed odd, non-Amarrian ways about the boy, like an ability to read without opening his mouth?).
Anyway, the old carpet mucher's not even dead - your Empire seems to prefer to think of its citizens as 'dead' rather than just 'pissed off and totally bored with the place'. Last I knew of her she'd taken off with a small, blind Caldari, name of Death Kill; she'd said your beam had gone all weak, or something, and longed for a bit of rocket action - although I understand that these days, her sig radius is ideal for the larger torps. Whenever I pass through Caldari space late at night I often hear her cries of "Baby, launch that payload...BOOST CALDARI! Boost.....Ohhhhh.....BOOOOST!" echoing through local. Nice that she's getting on so well with the natives.
All the best,

Just logged on, and still having trouble getting hold of mods, for some reason :/ ... just so we're clear, is this restricted to own race stuff, or non ewar, or anything goes, or what? Not exactly a great deal of choice for me atm.

Slavey won, btw. Though he was on fire, and the la...
...nah, no excuses. Good stuff, close, and highly enjoyable.
I'm sure the fraps will look weird as hell, as we seemed to see two completely different battles. But one thing's for sure: LASERS do NOT suck. As if I needed telling...
For the record, I flew a Riffie with 3 280mm arties, wmd, web, 200 plate, etc., all unnamed T1. Set to fly straight away at 16km, where his (expected) pulse lasers could hardly touch me. If Punisher catches Rifter, Rifter dies, which is what happened.
That's one of my 'special' Riffie setups that has never actually worked in practice, for whatever reason - yet this was the perfect ship to try it on. I think it's cursed...

Muahahah I didnt use lasrers Gorfy, I used ac's
edit : 'lasrers'? Gah my spelling is completely borked these days!
If I had used lasers I would have been dead before your armour hit 80%
Ahhh, the luxury of guns using zero cap for activation
Posted 13 October 2006 - 08:26 PM
I didn't hear or see your guns fire at all (I did see the damage though). My setup assumed either Pulse lasers or ACs (even though I thought we'd agreed in channel pure racial fittings, you barst ). Either way, mwd'ing away from the target with arties should work, and moreso against ACs than anything else. And indeed I crept away from you out of web range whilst taking no hits...and kept the mwd on, of course...creeping further away just outside my opti...and then...
I am now officially putting that down to lag. I don't even think I saw the fight that really happened. Having said that, I always fancied the Punisher against the Rifter (except not against arties :/)
Twas still a good fight tho, so no complaints here. Best (1 on 1) frig fight I've been in, so ta for that.

Crunch, you've got to answer that!

(He should have been dead there though, goddamn it.)

We only agreed on t1 fittings
