Not heard the original to compare, but the remix does sound how I'd expect a collaboration between those two artists would.

Information now required on the new Lindstrom LP.

Yeah, I'm really not sure about the new Lindstrom - I suppose a bit of diversification is great, but first listen felt very scatter-shot. Ill give a few more listens obviously, but I doubt Ill take to it properly.

I hate this time of year so I tried to make the most summery mix I could to cheer myself up. Mixing isn't perfect as my laptop and Traktor still don't seem to get on perfectly (it skips sometimes when recording) but it turned out ok. Hope you enjoy!

This track is killing me at the moment, i've had it on non stop since I first heard it:

Pity the LP is out of stock everywhere :(

That is really, really good :)

edit: Grabbed the album (Fin) off iTunes, so far I'm loving the back half, not so sure about the first half. But then it is a "proper" album so it might take a few listens for me to get my head around it.

I want it on vinyl so i'm going to hold out for a repress I think.

His FACT mix is pretty good as well:

Fuck me, was this amazing. Absolutely incredible. I'd heard that Dopplereffekt's live show doesn't tend to explore the retro throwback 80's Detroit sound typical of their/his electro output in the 1990's, focusing instead on beatless, ambient soundscapes, so that's what I was expecting. But he's switched it up since his last notorious appearance in Glasgow, because this was all Juan Atkins-infused electronic darkness. Absolutely sensational. Apocalyptic stuff. Loved it. What's more, Gerald Donald himself was just stoating around the bar area before the gig. Brilliant.

Really liked the Booka Shade edit that Mark Knight did a few weeks back, so tried to recreate it using the originals and his live recorded version.
