Finalmente is fantastic. Been listening to it over and over.

That needs adding to this thread

EDIT: Oh, "It's not another King Kong" is the same track apparently

Cheers, Sam.

I'll sticky this on the condition that it remains a celebration of his talent, and nothing else.

This stuff is CD-worthy!

It's like Tenacious D / Frank Zappa ;)

In fact, all the songs are different. "I know what it's like" is very 'Badly Drawn Boy'

Fixed the link to Guuurdensky.

Fun fact: That's me singing at the beginning of the Mecha Donald Duck song.

His voice reminds me of Thom Yorke on the newer stuff. Was he a fan?

I'm in the process of sticking all this on a CD for round the house.

Is it ok to pass these links on to friends? I don't want to eat away at your bandwidth, but would like to get the music about :D

Just seeking permission first.

This guy should have a posthumous album I think, some of those are really great. Even if it was only somebody putting together a YSI zip file of the 12 or so best ones...

I've heard some tracks before, some of which I liked - I will have to set time aside on the weekend and listen to some more songs from Yo˝lu.

I find it hard to reconcile that a person as young and as talented as this could have given up on everything.

I've only heard Estrela so far, and it's wonderful.

edit: And Waterfalls too.

I've noticed Yo˝lu is listed on Last.fm, though he doesn't have an artist profile done. I think it'd be grand if a few of us could put one together. I'd be happy to do it, though I'm not sure on finer details about himself.
